Prof. Dr. Yarub Al-Douri has been granted Doctorat D’etat in Materials Science. He has worked at NUS (Singapore), TUC (Germany), CNRS (France) and Malaysia, in addition to Algeria and Yemen. He has almost quarter century experience of scientific research and university teaching, and more than 440 publications currently including patents, books, chapters review, papers, articles and conferences. His citations = 2625, h-index = 25 and i10-index = 69 for the moment. He has graduated under his supervision many of PhD and MSc students. He is Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Experimental and Theoretical Nanotechnology Specialized Researches, Editor-in-Chief of World Journal of Nano Science and Engineering, editor and peer-reviewer of different international journals, member of different international scientific associations and has been honored 60 awards internationally. He has initiated Nanotechnology Engineering MSc Program and established Nano Computing laboratory in Malaysia. His research interests are Modeling & Simulation, Semiconductors, Optical studies, Nanoelectronics, Nanomaterials and Renewable Energy.

Started his career with UTM in 1984 and was appointed as a Professor in 2007. He received his PhD from Loughborough University (UK) in 1997. He was the Deputy Director (Research Publications) for Research Management Center from 2008 to 2011. From 2012 to 2013, he was the Director of Research Publications Center. He was the Head of Polymer Engineering Department from 2002 to 2008. His area of research interests includes, polymer blends, thermal characterization, toughened polymers, natural fibres composites, graphene, nanocomposites and flame retardant polymers. He has published over 300 papers in journals and conferences proceeding and book chapters. He is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the Malaysian Polymer Journal and Perintis eJournal. He has also been appointed as a reviewer for more than 20 different journals.

Eihab Abdel-Rahman is Associate Professor of System Design Engineering, University Waterloo. A nonlinear dynamicist by training, his research interests are in electromechanical and biomechanical systems with emphsis on micro sensors, micro actuators, and energy harvesters. His research has resulted in the discovery of new phenomena in micro-systems, the development of innovative MEMS sensors and actuators, and novel micro power generators. He has co-authored more than 200 refereed journal and conference papers and filed seven patents
